Christmas Message

Wesley Christmas MessageIn just a few days our WCA staff and families will be starting our Christmas “break”. It is our prayer that you will make time this holiday season to reflect on why this time of the year is different from all others, why we celebrate His birth and why it means so much to Christians.

As parents we begin to understand the joy of giving when we see the sparkle in a child’s eyes when they open a long anticipated special gift. We are so happy to see their happiness. Does God see that happiness in your face when you reflect on His gift to you at Christmas?

“O holy child of Bethlehem
Descend to us we pray
Cast out our sin and enter in
Be born in us today.”

Christmas is a good time of year to remind ourselves about THE message of Christmas. It is a message of giving with joy and love. It’s the message of classic movies like “A Christmas Carol” and “It’s A Wonderful Life.” More importantly, it’s the message of that first Christmas. The infant of Bethlehem’s manger was a gift, a present from a loving heavenly father to his lost and hurting children, a gift the Bible says brought “good tidings of great joy” to giver and receiver alike.

We deeply appreciate your kindness, generosity and well wishes to our various staff, teachers and office personnel.

May you and your family have a blessed Christmas.
