In conjunction with the integration of French and culture, our grade eight students recently painted their interpretation of French impressionist painting. On Saturday May 29th we had a wonderful turnout for our ninth annual Wesley Walkathon. Students, parents, teachers, family and friends joined together at Milne Conservation Area for a great walk, barbeque and fun time for all. Over $19,000 was raised to support some extra projects at the school. Thank you to all who helped us. Special thanks to our many volunteers who made this day run so smoothly. Great way to go Wesley, you should be very proud of your efforts!
Our school came in third overall for our very first entry in the ACSI badminton tournament. Our girls doubles did an excellent job coming in second and our boys doubles came in third. Carol Ng also came in third in the singles event. Much of this success is attributed to the hard work of our badminton coaches. Thank you Ms. Li, Mrs. Nomani and Mr. Nomani for coaching this team and preparing them for this event. What a great team!
